CYMT is delighted to have won the Creative Industries category at Taunton Deane Business Awards 2019 which were held at Somerset County Cricket Club on 28 June 2019.
In April CYMT was selected as a finalist in the category alongside John Packed Ltd and Rocket & Bird. Final presentations took place in May, and at the presentation evening in June the CYMT team was hugely surprised when CYMT was announced as the winner.

The award is testament to the excellent work achieved by all involved in CYMT since the Centre opened 5 years ago: students, parents/carers, staff, Guildhall School, host venues Richard Huish College and Hestercombe Gardens, and other key stakeholders such as Somerset Music Education Hub and Actiontrack Performance Co.
The Centre will continue to build on this success and the award will go a long way to helping the Centre’s development.
The Centre’s end of term showcase concert will take place at 1pm on 13 July at Richard Huish College – picnic style, weather permitting – and next month the Centre is running an exciting summer holiday course for music & drama for 10-18s on 12 to 16 August at Richard Huish College, Taunton.
Thank you all for your continued support of CYMT.
