At Centre for Young Musicians Taunton (CYMT) we’re unique in the way we offer you a totally bespoke musical experience. When you attend our centre on a Saturday we design for you a timetable of workshops, ensembles and individual tuition that is carefully tailored around your musical preferences and instruments.
We cater for all abilities, musical tastes and ages from 5-18.
Perhaps you want to learn the violin and join our string orchestra but you’d also like to do musical theatre and music production – no worries – we can give you all this. Or perhaps you’re an experienced drummer and you’d like to join a rock band and our jazz ensemble and then focus on DJ skills and drama as well – we can make it happen.
